BARTENDER Trevor Rodriguez appeared before Magistrate Sueanna Lovell yesterday, on a damage to property charge. The defendant (no address given) pleaded not guilty to the offence, which alleged that, on October 10, he damaged one car windscreen, valued $85,000, belonging to Brian Pertab.
Police Sergeant, Neville Jeffers, prosecuting, said the defendant and virtual complainant are known to each other and it was following an argument between them that Rodriguez broke the glass on the vehicle.
Rodriguez was granted $50,000 bail and the case was put off to February 7, 2012.
