ORIN Bailey (no address given) appeared before Magistrate Sueanna Lovell yesterday, charged with unlawfully assaulting his paramour, Fayann Abrahams. He pleaded not guilty to the offence, particulars of which said he caused the virtual complainant actual bodily harm.
Police Sergeant, Neville Jeffers, prosecuting, said the couple shared a relationship for 13 years but the woman accused the defendant of having an affair with her friend and, on December 3, he walked up to her and slapped her without saying anything.
Bailey was put on $15,000 until February 7, 2012.
