Rupert is not a good example for youngsters

THE former WPA crossover to APNU has been calling on young African Guyanese to come out and protest — for what reason, I really don’t know. I say African-Guyanese because when I looked at the crowd, there wasn’t any Indian. What is wrong with Rupert — he looks so bitter and angry when he is speaking on the air — it makes me wonder if something is wrong with him — psychologically.
This man’s aim is only to create violence and animosity and halt the development of this nation. He is creating ethnic divisiveness among the populace. We don’t need divisiveness. We have to work, dwell and support each other in every aspect of life to move forward. If you go into the market, you have to buy items from each other. A cheerful smile or a pleasant good morning will make life better for all of us. Peace and tranquility are the ways to advancement.
It leaves me no choice in saying this — these youngsters who are assembling to protest; don’t they have anything better to do with their lives? Aren’t they attending school? I suggest to Rupert that he should open a school and start educating/teaching these youngsters about the history of this country instead of enticing ethnic violence on the air.
He should do something worthwhile so when he passes on, his name will be etched and remembered on the minds of young people.
The elections have come and gone, we need to accept the results and move on.
Christmas is rapidly approaching; we need to enjoy the year-end loving, giving and all that comes with this festive season.
To those youngsters who are being advised by this power-hungry Rupert to protest, that is not something wise to do because I am aware it’s an opportunity for those who don’t like to work to earn a living, it’s an opportunity for them to loot hardworking people’s busineses. An honest living is the better way or you might end up getting hurt.
Youngsters, please stop the protest and do something profitable with your lives. Stop following Rupert. He is not an example of a good leader.   The famous Indian philosopher, internationally esteemed for his doctrine, said: “Whenever you have truth it must be given with love, or the message and the messenger will be rejected.”
