Similar cordial greetings were expressed by the Executives of the Suriname Muslim Association (SMA). SMA President, Michel Soebhan, in an e-mail wrote, “I pray to our Lord to grant the new president wisdom, strength and needed support to lead the Guyanese community to higher positions.”
Soebhan, on behalf of SMA members, also congratulated former President Bharrat Jagdeo on his successful tenure as President of Guyana.
