SOL, the leader in the Caribbean in petroleum products, has introduced yet another product on the local market.
Shell V-Power, with Friction Modification Technology (FMT) is touted as a unique double action formulation designed to actively clean the engine of a vehicle and reduce friction, thereby helping the car to deliver more throughout its life. At an impressive launch of the product in Guyana Tuesday evening at the Impeccable Banquet Hall, Brickdam, a group of male dancers unleashed quite an energetic performance signifying the `fitness and power’ to be derived from using the enhanced fuel in vehicles.
Today, Sol will conduct simultaneous launching ceremonies in Barbados, Belize, Grenada, St Lucia, St Vincent and Suriname, the company’s remaining key markets.
Attendees at the launch, among them dealers and managers of Shell Service Stations, were told that inspired by what was learned on the race track with Ferrari, the advanced formation contains performance-enhancing components to help the engine perform at its full potential, regardless of what car you drive.
Prior to a power-point presentation by Mr. James Macias, Shell’s scientist who arrived in the country for the launch and answered queries posed by customers and clients, were the welcome by Ms. Ayanna Watson, Retail Sales executive, Sol Guyana Inc., and brief remarks by Ken Figaro, General Manager, Sol, Guyana Inc. and Mr Phillip Payne, Group Retail Manager, Sol Caribbean Limited.
According to Figaro, Sol, as a licensee of the Shell brand, says it remains passionate about offering quality, high performance fuels for cars, and maintains an unwavering dedication to working with Shell to improve the fuel proposition to the Caribbean, since its initial launch in the region in November, 2006.
Karlsrud emphasized that Sol’s relentless pursuit of excellence and its relationship with Shell has allowed the company to offer some of the most advanced fuels in the world, adding that Shell V-Power contains an advanced formulation with performance enhancing components.
Shell V-Power enhances the responsiveness of the engine as it is designed to remove existing power-robbing engine deposits and prevents their build up.
“In a clean engine, the fuel can burn more effectively, enabling the engine to run more smoothly, thus keeping your car fit and strong,” he said.
