THE People’s Progressive Party Civic (PPP/C) yesterday held a successful meeting in the Region 1, Barima-Waini community of Port Kaituma.

The feature speaker was the party’s Presidential Candidate, Mr. Donald Ramotar who reportedly received a rousing welcome from the residents present, including those from neighbouring villages.

Mr. Ramotar will today visit the deep south in the Rupununi where he will be interacting with residents of several communities there. Photos show turnout at yesterday’s meeting in Port Kaituma.
