Things ah hearing! Hmmmm!
THERE is always a lot of things being said during an election campaign; some humourous, some factual, some downright lies, and some that should not be ignored. Some rallies reveal interesting information that exposes some who seek public office. Take for example the Mayor, who seems reluctant to work but always has time to write lengthy letters to the press. Apparently he has been “twiddling” with the digits (phone buttons).

Based on what was revealed recently, it seems the Mayor has lots of time to be engaged in other “undesirable” activities. Being an executive of the PNC/APNU, apparently he is tasked with the responsibility of raising funds. Being usually reluctant to get engaged in any work-related activity, like a traditional bar-b-que, dinner etc., the “goodly” Mayor reportedly took the easy way out while staying steadfast to the “party line” of getting things done.

It was revealed that he is allegedly calling businessmen for them to contribute financially to APNU and promising protection in return! Word has it that the “goodly” Mayor is peddling the line that he and APNU can protect the businessmen’s entities from the consequences of any post-election uneasiness. Extortion? Intimidation? Hmmm! A flagship tool of the PNC to force others into submission! Spot the commonalities in the following; “Hammie, PNC, APNU, extortion, intimidation, election unrest”. Easy, right?

If true, is it that APNU is telling us something that should not be ignored? Hmmm! As for the Mayor “twiddling” the digits, apparently his explanation is why expend energy for work when today’s technology in the comfort of an office makes it easier to raise money! Hmmm!

Asgar’s endorsement and Jeffery’s home-coming
Well, well, it’s no mystery; everyone likes a winner. Well, at least those who know the difference. Asgar knows a winner. He has seen the massive unprecedented development that the country has undergone over the years. He knows. In some way he would have made a contribution. His endorsement of the PPP/C at Stewartville left Hammie, APNU and the Always Fuming Cabal (AFC) in shock! Apparently some in the latter believe they are not seeing right.

Asgar made the RIGHT turn. Not the turn the Always Fighting Constantly (AFC) asking people to make. The people are seeing well, they know where to turn! Jeffery turned too. Only thing is that he turned from better to worse. How could the “goodly” Dr. Henry, having praised the continuous progress under the PPP/C, now turn to a Party that is not known for progress, but is king for breaking things? How could “goodly” Henry return to Apathy, Pain, Non-constructiveness, Uselessness (APNU, PNC re-named)? How could he join A Party Not United (APNU)?

Apparently the answer lies in Hammie’s “twiddling” of the digits. Henry, who was part of the PNC in the past, had responsibility for mobilisation for Congress Place. Remember the Ministry of National Mobilisation? Well, given the poor turn-out at the APNU/PNC meetings, Hammie wanted a “mobiliser”; hence Henry’s return. What Hammie may now know is that Henry is now accustomed to the technology made possible by the PPP/C government. So he, like Hammie, will be “twiddling” the digits to mobilise. What Henry don’t know, is that it don’t wuk so! Hmmm!

APNU at the races
Using technology, somebody BBM the results of one of the races held at the South Dakota circuit last Sunday. The race had a car sponsored by APNU; all green with Mr. Granger’s pictures. The car brought last. Not only last but it got lapped! After losing, they took off Mr. Granger’s pictures! The inference? Hmmm! More next time!
