THE Guyana Snatan Dharma Maha Sabha Ashram at Lot 162 Lamaha Street, North Cummingsburg, yesterday held a ‘Rangoli’ presentation and cultural show in observance of Diwali which will be celebrated on Wednesday. The presentation was aimed at displaying colours and artistic skills in which coloured rice was used to create gods and symbols of the Hindu religion. There was also a sweet meat sale.
Following the presentation, a cultural show was put on that featured performances from members of the Ashram. It included Diwali songs, skits, group dances, singing, modeling, etc.
