Republic Bank rewards Rightstart account holders

REPUBLIC Bank Guyana Limited yesterday rewarded their top five Rightstart account holders who excelled at this year’s National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA) at a ceremony in the Queen’s College auditorium.

Sarah David-Longe, Edmund Henry, Brassette Henry,Niarie McKenzie, and Maneesha Balgobin each received a Rightstart gift certificate valued $10,000 and a stationery kit.

“I am very honoured to be a part of this special ceremony and deliver words of commendation, as Republic Bank recognises and rewards our Rightstart account holders’ outstanding performances at this year’s National Grade Six Assessment”, said the Manager of Corporate Operations, Republic Bank Guyana, Denys Benjamin, while addressing the students at the ceremony.

He said that Republic Bank holds fast to the mission of being the stewards of the nation’s young people; and so the entity actively seeks opportunities to provide support and rewards to young achievers.

“As a bank, we recognise the immeasurable value of education and its importance to the development of our nation and the youths; therefore we are pleased to honour the excellent performance of the account holders,” he added.

The manager commended the awardees for their exceptional achievements at the NGSA, noting that the bank takes special pride in acknowledging and highlighting their potential.

Over the years, Republic Bank has recognised the academic achievements of its account holders at the different levels.

This year, the bank is pleased to once again honour and reward the top five Rightstart account holders for their outstanding performances.

The five students expressed thanks to the bank, and urged the entity to keep up the good work.
