AN abuse of power by Carl Greenidge, as appeared in the Stabroek News of September 18, 2011 on the letter pages 6 and 9 comes over in totality as an exercise in mumbo jumbo.
But then again, this is the very Greenidge who recently experienced some major controversy over the decision not to renew his work contract and quite wrongly or rightly, it was assumed that it was President’s Jagdeo’s government that was behind the unfortunate decision, which caused Greenidge to lose his job.
It is against this background that the impassioned nature of the letter: ‘An Abuse of Power’ must be viewed. The opinion of eminent George Lamming will remain just that – an opinion.
