AS part of continuing efforts to fully integrate Haiti into the Caribbean, and to ensure buy-in by key stakeholders, five journalists from the French-speaking member state arrived in Guyana on Wednesday last, on a field mission which ends on Sunday. To get a better understanding of the roles the administrative arm of the community plays in the integration process, the group was involved in a familiarisation exercise at the CARICOM Secretariat.
Through an invitation extended by the Guyana Press Association, the visiting journalists had the opportunity to interact with some of their Guyanese counterparts at a function hosted by the association at the Sidewalk Café in Georgetown.
