West Berbician does Guyana proud at Nottingham U

WEST Berbician and former University of Guyana (UG) lecturer, Mr. Rawle Prince recently did Guyana proud when he graduated from the University of Nottingham in England with a PhD. in Computer Science. Dr. Prince, who hails from Plantation Ross, West Coast Berbice, excelled in his  thesis entitled, ‘Aspects of the Theory of Containers within Automated Theorem Proving’.
An ardent footballer, Dr. Prince attended Mackenzie Primary and President’s College.
He graduated with a degree in mathematics (with distinction) from UG in 2003 and was a lecturer there until 2004, when he received a Shell Centenary Scholarship from the University of  Edinburgh (Scotland) for MSc studies in Artificial Intelligence.
After graduating with his Masters Degree in England in 2006, again with distinction,  he received  a studentship from the school of Computer Science, University of Nottingham with funding from the University’s international office, for PhD studies.
Dr. Prince is the son of Mrs. Stephanie Prince, a retired Primary School teacher currently resident at Plantation Ross, West Coast Berbice.(Clifford Stanley)
