THE Regional Democratic Council (RDC) of Region Three (Essequibo Islands/West Demerara) has donated a brush cutter to the Tuschen/Uitvlugt Neighbourhood Democratic Council (NDC).
According to Regional Chairman Mr. Julius Faerber, the gesture comes at a time when it has been recognised that the NDC has a greater work load with the establishment of the new Tuschen Housing Scheme which he said is the largest in the region.
He noted that the Tuschen/Uitvlugt NDC is the largest among the 14 NDCs in the region.
Faerber also noted that the NDC will now be in a better position to carry out its mandate in all government compounds and generally within its boundaries.
