THE current West Indies (WI) Test team has set another unenviable record. It is the only team which comprises nine players as both its captain and vice-captain do not merit their places as players. They are in the team solely as captain and vice-captain respectively.
Perhaps we are living in the dream of the past great WI teams which could have defeated almost any team with nine players!
We certainly need to come out of that dream and deal with reality.
