KENNETH Chase, a father of eight, has appealled to Food for the Poor, for a new home.
He said his dilapidated house, at Lima Dam, on the Essequibo Coast, collapsed under strong winds recently.
Chance said his children are very small, and he cannot afford to rebuild because of poverty, and they are suffering in the current heavy rainfall.
