Long delays in pending Appeal Court cases

COULD the government do an inquiry in to the appeal court process?
There are many land dispute cases that are pending at the Appeal Court and people are waiting for years on their appeal case to be called for a hearing, years going by and no word from the court, what kind of justice is this?

Can someone in the Justice Department, the Appeal Court or the Guyana Government look into the Appeal cases and let the people know the process and how many years do it take to have justice.
Many people are growing old and some have even died while waiting for justice from the Appeal Court of Guyana.
People have occupied other people’s land and property by illegal means and by the corrupted system in this country.
