Guyanese journalists first to dialogue with Paul Keens Douglas on new book
The Guyanese media will tomorrow have the opportunity and will become the first in the Region to dialogue with author and renowned Caribbean cultural artiste Paul Keens Douglas concerning his most recent publication titled, “As ah was Saying” – Selected works of PKD Vol. 3.   .

The Rotary Club of Stabroek is facilitating the media engagement at 2:30 pm at Herdmanston Lodge, 65 Anira Street, Queenstown, Georgetown.
Paul Keen Douglas will be in Guyana to perform at the Rotary Club of Stabroek’s  “Jazz, Words, & Wine” event on Saturday evening at the Theatre Guild, in Kingston Georgetown. According to the Club, the occasion will highlight the importance of fatherhood in the nurturing and development of the child and by extension, the community. The Rotary Club of Stabroek will salute through music and the spoken word, the contribution of fathers to the development of our youth and encourage further, the unremitting involvement of the father in every facet of community development.
In addition to his usual and expected legendary performance, Mr. Paul Keens Douglas has chosen Guyana, and accepted the setting of the Rotary Club of Stabroek “Jazz, Words, & Wine” Fathers’ Day celebration, to launch another of his books, “As ah was Saying” – Selected works of PKD Vol. 3. In the Wine Hour (6:30 pm – 7:30 pm), the author will speak briefly on the publication and autograph copies of the book before his performance.
Journalists and media houses are especially requested and encouraged to attend this engagement today.
The event tomorrow evening at the Theatre Guild Playhouse will also feature Guyanese jazz singer and flautist Ruth Osman Rose.
