ANOTHER drug defendant was remanded to prison yesterday when he made his appearance before Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry.
Mark Joseph (no address given) pleaded not guilty to having two grammes of cocaine, on May 25, for the purpose of trafficking.
Police Sergeant Kevin London, prosecuting, said ranks, on receipt of certain information, went to the defendant’s home and a search yielded the illegal substance in one of his pants pockets.
The case was transferred to Matthews Ridge Court for August 3.
