THE second Annual Safeway Security-sponsored ProAm Golf tournament and Family Fun Day will take place today at the Lusignan Golf Club (LGC). Managing Director of Safeway Security, Eon Caesar, disclosed that several business executives as well as local personalities are expected to face-off in the tournament, including top executives of Ansa McAl, Banks DIH, Scotiabank, Diplomats and at least one Member of Parliament.
According to Caesar, golfers have also been encouraged to invite their families to participate in a Fun Day that will coincide with the action on the course.
Ansa McAl team will include Managing Director Beverly Harper and Marketing Director Troy Cadogan, while the Banks DIH lineup will include Chairman Clifford Reis, Engineering Executive Gavin Todd and Liquor Distribution Executive Mark Lashley.
Scotiabank will feature banking executives Esau Shamshudin and Brian Hackett who is also president of the LGC.
GBTI chief executive officer John Tracey will also be in action as well as Caesar and an All-Star team representing Safeway Security, including Ian Gouveia and Member of Parliament David Patterson.
The Diplomats will have in their line-up Canadian High Commissioner Francois Montour, EU Ambassador Geert Heikens, Rita Hekiens and Albert Russell.
Also listed to take part are Hilbert Shields, Maurice Solomon, Dr Ram Singh, Patrick Prashad, Jerome Khan, Colin Ming, Brian Glasford, Mohanlall Dinanauth, Ronald Bulkan, Rawl Moore, Christine Sukhram, Bholawram Deo, William Walker, Mike Gayadin, Albert Semple, Carlos Adams, B. Harry, Robert Hanoman and the Cummings brothers Roy, Bruce and Andre.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three players with the best net scores as well as Nearest to the Pin and Best Gross. Tee-off time is 09:30hrs.
