Final four identified for tomorrow’s EBFA/James Herbert knockout tourney

GROVE Hi-Tech, Kuru Kuru Warriors, Timehri Panthers and Kuru Kuru Lions have all booked their place in this year’s East Bank Demerara Football Association (EBFA)-organised, James Herbert-sponsored knockout tournament semi- final round which kicks off tomorrow at the Kuru Kuru College ground.
In the first match which kicks off at 13:00hrs, Timehri Panthers will match skills with Kuru Kuru Lions while the featured game will see Grove Hi-Tech and Kuru Kuru Warriors battling for a place in the final from 15:00hrs.
In last week’s action, Lions got the better of Yarrowkabra via penalty kicks to book their place in tomorrow’s matchup, with their hopes of advancing to the final resting on the shoulders of Wayne Campbell, Daniel Gibson, Travis Lauroux, Simon Methland Garfield Morris and Raphael Cadogan.
Timehri Panthers’ challenge will come from Fiazal Mohammed, Orin Steele, Seon David, Andy Higgins, Samuel Steele, Travis Thornhill, Romel Myles and Dellon Douglas.
For the Grove Hi-Tech versus Kuru Kuru Warriors clash, the former will look to Orson Francois, Dexter Archer, Nathaniel Pilgrim and Colin Lancaster to see them through against their opponents who will be hoping Ryan Scott, Corel Johnson, Dominique Walsh, Steve Gibson and Paul Joseph will be able to handle and turn back their opponents’ challenge.
