Mr. David Granger has disclosed that he was a card-bearing member of the People’s National Congress (PNC) during his tenure in the Guyana Defence Force, but as far as I can recall, there is a regulation which prohibits anyone from being a card-bearing member of any political party during his/her tenure in the security services. So if I am right, wasn’t Mr. Granger in violation of this regulation? Or was it a case where regulations applied only to other political parties other than the PNC?
I shall be grateful if Mr. Granger could enlighten the nation on this issue.
