THE murder of a miner known so far as `Shane’ as the correct name is yet to be ascertained, at Pamela Backdam, Mahdia, in the interior, is being investigated by the Police. According to a release, the murder reportedly occurred at about 2015h. Friday night.
Investigations so far revealed that the deceased was involved in an argument with another man during which he was stabbed to his chest.
He was taken to the Mahdia Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival (DOA).
The suspect has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations, the release added.
