DAVID Ramotar (no address given) was placed on a bond, for one year, after being convicted of using abusive language to his neighbour, Mahendranauth Datt.
Magistrate Nyasha Williams-Hatmin put the defendant on probation, at the Vreed-en-Hoop Court, West Coast Demerara, following his guilty plea.
The probationer admitted that, on March 8, at Parika, East Bank Essequibo, he abused Datt.
Police Sergeant Sherwin Matthews, prosecuting, said it happened about 22:40 h, when the virtual complainant was at home and heard a loud noise originating from next yard.
It was when Datt spoke to the defendant about the noise that he was subjected to the abuse, the prosecutor said.
Ramotar has been bonded until March 31, 2012, with any breach punishable with two months imprisonment.
