WE badly need more investigative reporting, and less instigative ones. We need Guyana media, including the Chronicle, to do more than print complaints by ordinary Guyanese if there seems to be a serious case of wrongdoing , regardless of who is involved. A famous person once said if he had a choice between a government or a free press, he would take a free press. The press is often the last hope for the ordinary citizen or the only true representative between them and injustice. In addition, no official worthy of respect should fail to have a system in place that follows up on complaints within their area of responsibility.
More investigative reporting is needed
