I am writing in reference to a letter by Vijay P. Kumar in the January 18th edition of the Guyana Chronicle captioned: ‘PPP ought to elect a young gun’.
It’s great that Vijay pointed out those achievements Mr. Jagdeo had gained during his tenure as President as a “young gun”.
I also agree that the old stalwarts of the PPP should remain in the party to guide the next nominee for President.
It is also great for Vijay to point out the likes of other young energetic would-be leaders such as Dr. Frank Anthony, Mr. Irfan Ali, Mr. Robeson Benn and Ms. Priya Manickchand.
There are also two others that come to mind and would be equal to the task of leading Guyana as well.
Ms. Caroline Rodrigues and Ms. Jennifer Westford for sure must be in the mix with the presidential nominees of the PPP/C.
Trinidad, Brazil, next will be France where the ladies will do great for their people.
“Let’s get it on!”
