GUYANA Tractor and Equipment (Guytrac) has secured a multi-million-dollar dealership with world-renowned Heavy Duty Equipment manufacturers, HYUNDAI Construction Equipment Americas Inc. of Korea.

The Agreement was signed yesterday at Guytrac’s Head Office between Guytrac’s owner and Managing Director Mr. Shamnarine Narine, and Hyundai’s Sales Manager Mr. Jacky Kim, who is in Guyana primarily for this purpose.

In the past 12 months, Guytrac said it has been able to set a Hyundai record in this part of the world, of selling the most amount of machines (75) by a dealer in a twelve month period in its first year!

Also, GUYTRAC has already confirmed orders for almost 30 machines due to arrive in Guyana within the first two months of 2011, and guaranteeing an increase in sales of more than 100% in 2011.

Guyana Tractor and Equipment is a family-owned business that also offers complete spare parts support and after-sales service for their Hyundai customers.

It is important to note that GUYTRAC has already secured dealership contracts with Italian spare parts giant Roter S.p.A, and are about to also establish similar agreements with tractor manufacturer Argo Tractors S.p.A, and combine manufacturer Laverda S.p.A.
