THE case, in which former beauty queen Carolan Lynch is charged with murdering her Swiss House Cambio boss husband Farouk Razack, was called, again, yesterday but the accused did not appear in Court. Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry postponed it to February 2, 2011, after Inspector Stephen Telford, prosecuting, informed the Court that the Police are still trying to locate Lynch.
The Prosecutor said the Police are making every effort to apprehend her and have her make an appearance.
Lynch was first charged with the capital offence murder in May 2007 but was freed the following year when then Magistrate Gordon Gilhuys ruled that a prima facie case had not been made out against her.
Razack was found dead on the floor of the Eping Avenue, Bel Air Park, Georgetown house where the couple lived. He was bleeding through his nose and mouth.
An autopsy later established that he had been strangled.
