A motor cyclist was nabbed yesterday when police stopped him, carried out a search and unearthed an unlicensed shotgun and ammunition.
Police reported that at about 12:35hrs, ranks of a mobile police patrol at Number 55 Village, Corentyne, Berbice, stopped and searched a motor cyclist and found an unlicensed 12 gauge shotgun with five cartridges in a bag in his possession.
He has been arrested and will be charged shortly, police said.
