Ghansham lands cushy job with local car dealership

-as the new face of BM Soat
US-TRAINED interpretive dancer, television host and cultural promoter, Joel Ghansham has teamed up with local car dealer, BM Soat, to produce an ‘ad’ that will see him become what he  refers to as ‘The New Face of BM Soat’.
Ghansham, who was largely schooled in the USA, and holds a Degree in Business Administration, has been in discussion for months with BM Soat’s proprietor, Rameez Mohammed, about the new gig, and together they’ve come up with the catchy new slogan: ‘Your turn to drive’, which they both feel is a strong message and one that is fitting to be used with all the company’s advertising materials.
Production Company, ‘Idee Designs’ Mr. Ian Rajkumar, Ghansham says, has been painstakingly planning this shoot, and is trying to locate the perfect spots in which to do it.
“The ‘ad’ is set to be very hi-tech, edgy and a strong message on ‘Your Turn to Drive’,” Ghansham told the Chronicle yesterday.
Ghansham, a protégé of Ishri Singh and the late Gora Singh, experts in broadcasting and dance respectively, said BM Soat is set to spend “big bucks” on the proposed production to make it a quality advertisement.
He is, however, saddened at the thought of having to leave the National Television Network (NTN) where he proverbially cut his teeth after returning here about a year or so ago, and which he says gave him the platform to showcase his talent in his homeland.
