FOLLOWING the election of office bearers at their Annual General Meeting (AGM) held last Monday at the Campbellville Community Centre, Attorney-at-Law Dennis Paul was elected the new president of the Sunburst Camptown Football Club.
The Election of Office Bearers who will serve for a period of two years, was the main item on the agenda at which incumbent president Troy Mendonca did not seek reelection, while the previous secretary Lester Sealey had earlier resigned from that position.
Apart from Paul, the affairs and day to day running of the Campbellville based club will be handled by Leroy ‘Copper’ Prescod who retained his position as vice- president, Operations Manager of National Pride Akram Sabree (Secretary) Bovell’s Business School’s Carlica Pollydore (Treasurer) and Afreya Denny (Asst Secretary/Treasurer)
Three are Committee Members in Orlando Gilgeous, Troy Prescod and Jevon Lindie were elected at the AGM which saw Lawrence ‘Sparrow’ Griffith of the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) executing the duties of Returning Officer.
