THE Management of Lake Mainstay Resort ust be commended for the classy Essequibo Pageant Show that was held on August 25, 2010 at the Anna Regina  Community Centre Ground..There is where I saw the real professionalism of Mr, Derek Moore.
Essequibian’s are very thankful for this tourism entity to bring to the region entertainment of national standards inclusive of the annual regatta.
The pageant show was well organised with highly distinguished judges from Georgetown who had no contact or relation with the participants. It is the first time I have seen a show of such elegance, quality and standards. These events must be given full support by our tourism authority of which I think was done. Essequibian’s always welcome clean and educative entertainment, and someone is in the process of building a modern theatre on the coast which is most welcome. The coast is on the move and people will always want entertainment of the highest standards. So Lake Mainstay has done it again. I call on all to continue to give your support to this entity in what ever way possible so as to keep the resort alive.
