The original stone was 3.66 meters tall in diameter and weighs 24 tons. The Aztecs started to make the calendar in the year 1427 and they finished in 1479. They didn’t have a written language so they drew lots of pictures and they were called pictographs.
There are 20 days in one Aztec month, and there are 18 months in a year. These days had a special name. Five dots were added to the Calendar. These dots represented the best day to sacrifice to the gods.
