THE Guyana National Newspapers Limited (G.N.N.L), the publishers of Guyana Chronicle, has presented certificates to 13 students who completed work study with the company.
At the ceremony which took place on G.N.N.L’s premises, General Manager Nandkumar Puran commended the students for their performance, which he said was generally excellent.  Stating that their experience was the first step into the real world of work, Puran expressed the hope that the experience gained by the students would come in useful in time to come.
He encouraged students to apply for existing vacancies in the company.
Assistant Administrative Manager Colin Alfred, said that this year GNNL started to award certificates to the students so that their future employers can recognize that they had completed a fair stint in the world of work.
Collecting their certificates were Judy Bassant, Latoya Cross, Derick Singh, Panraj Lall, Hashana Koomal, Odalice Henry, Tanisha Taylor, Amrita Singh and Vidya Singh. Receiving certificates in absentia were Arun Singh, Munifa Erskine, Jahmai Bancroft and Naima Williams.
