THE  police are investigating a report of murder allegedly committed on a man at Tamakay Landing, Middle Mazaruni, at about mid-day Thursday. It is reported that the man was allegedly beaten after he was caught ‘raiding’ a ‘sluice box’ for gold.
A team of police ranks has been dispatched to the area. No other information is presently available, according to a statement from the Police yesterday.
