Prime Minister’s Office staff display remarkable professionalism

THE staff at the Prime Minister’s Office displayed a shocking but remarkable amount of professionalism that merits genuine commendation. I am constantly saddened by the poor level of communication demonstrated by staff of various ministries, banks, post offices and police stations.
They usually put on an air of superiority and a touch of haughtiness which detracts from their intellectual qualifications and abilities which is only a small part.
Many hold certificates that are highly esteemed in the Caribbean and elsewhere; nevertheless they lack basic communication skills which enhance their obligations to serve the public in whatever capacity.
As noted this body of staff set a fine example of being kind, approachable and inviting.
I find their facial expressions and body language to be very appropriate and welcoming.
I recall on one of my visits being served with a refreshing glass of drink while waiting; how considerate and Godly.
As was passed on to us, times will come when persons will lack natural affection, are self-assuming, haughty and well into themselves, so I can say those times are here since it fits the description of many.
The highest personage in the universe is generous approachable and humble thus we should never fail to remember we are limited, i.e we have limitations. We should honour persons of all sorts and do not withhold the doing of good when it happens to be in our power to do so we can start by being courteous in the workplace.
I am truly impressed by the staff despite my neutrality in the world’s political affairs, but commendations should be given when situations merit such maybe some in various offices should do same.
