ONE more suicide has been reported in the ‘Cinderella County’ of Essequibo.
The victim, 46-year-old labourer Kumar Manbodh, of Maria’s Lodge, was employed at the Anna Regina Police Station, also on the Essequibo Coast, for several years. He, reportedly, took his own life after experiencing family problems.
Reports said he had a close friendly relationship with a woman whom his mother did not like because of different religious beliefs.
The lifeless body of the deceased, who was a heavy drinker, was discovered hanging by a piece of rope from a tree in the back of his mother’s Maria’s Lodge yard.
