CHAIRMAN of the Police Complaints Authority (PCA) and former Chancellor of the Judiciary, Cecil Kennard will be in New Amsterdam, Region Six (East Berbice/Corentyne) on Friday June 25 and Saturday June 26, 2010.
At 10:00 h on Friday 25th he will meet with members of the Police Force at the Central Police Station to explain his role and function and to raise with them matters which are of concern to him.
On Saturday he will meet members of the public at the New Amsterdam Magistrate’s Court from 08:30 h to receive complaints from them.
Residents of Region Six are asked to turn up and discuss their problems with him.
For the year, the Chairman has already visited Anna Regina, Essequibo Coast and Linden.
He plans to visit Mahdia, Lethem, Mabaruma and Bartica shortly.
