SEON Wharton, 28, has been charged with larceny by clerk or servant.
He appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson and pleaded not guilty to having, between August 16, 2009 and May 31, 2010, while employed by Reaz Ali, stolen 1,168 compact discs (CDs) valued $350,400, that he received for his employer.
Attorney-at-law Mr. Paul Fung-a-Fat said the defendant had worked with Ali for five years and was one of several persons who had keys to the business place.
The lawyer said this is the sixth time that different people have been accused of theft from the store, by the virtual complainant.
Wharton was granted $100,000 bail and the case has been transferred to another Court, for July 23.
