I write to register my utter disgust and condemnation regarding what happened to Mr. Frederick Kissoon as reported in yesterday’s Kaieteur News. The people who did this are cowards and they must be caught and brought to justice. It is well known that Mr. Kissoon is a critic of the present administration. Although I do not agree with his writings, I respect his right to freely express his opinions. He has done so for years without interference and the cowards who want to change that should pick up their pens rather than throw dirt.

Those who have information about the perpetrator(s) of the cowardly act should immediately contact the police.
