PRESIDENT Bharrat Jagdeo is expected to lead a delegation including several teams of ministers to Region Ten today as Cabinet continues its country-wide outreach exercises.
Head of the Presidential Secretariat Dr Roger Luncheon disclosed that Cabinet has divided itself into a number of teams that will visit and interact specifically with Amerindian communities.

He remarked that communities in the Upper Berbice River and Upper Demerara River will also be targeted.
Dr Luncheon mentioned that residents of several communities along the Kwakwani and Ituni road networks will also be given a chance to mingle with the officials.
However, the teams will focus their attention on central communities in the Linden area and meet with residents of its nine wards.
The major event will be a meeting at Watooka Guest House chaired by President Jagdeo this afternoon.
The teams are slated to visit Wiruni, Kwakwani, Hururu, Ituni, Muritaro, Malali/Great Falls, Rockstone and the Linden Wards.
Inclusive governance has been the core of Guyana’s democracy, influencing government’s development agenda.
Through Cabinet outreaches, Guyanese across the country are allowed the opportunity of having their voices heard.
The last Cabinet outreach was held in Region Six in January prior to the presentation of the 2010 National Budget.
At 15:00 hrs today, all available Cabinet members would participate in the Watooka House meeting with Region 10 community members and the Regional Administration and which will be chaired by President Jagdeo.
