POLICE, on Thursday, arrested five men who were occupants of a motor car in which an unlicensed firearm and ammunition were found. It happened about 06:15 h, when ranks on mobile patrol stopped and searched HB 7759 at Cemetery Road, Rose Hall, Corentyne, Berbice.
The .38 revolver with six rounds and two toque masks were all in the vehicle, Police said, adding that the men are in custody assisting with investigations and the car has been detained.
