The Guyana Sevashram Sangha (Cove and John Ashram) will be hosting its grand Family Fun Day 2010 tomorrow at the Cove and John Ashram Compound on the East Coast of Demerara.
The fun begins at 10.00 a.m.  There will be a special Havan in the morning, with visitors from overseas participating as part of their annual pilgrimage to the Ashram.
At this event Director of Sport, Mr. Neil Kumar, will also be presenting a range of sporting equipment for the enjoyment and recreation of the dormitory boys.
The Zara quartet comprising Shravan Budhu, Nardeo Singh (Naresh), and Jay Sobraj, and Mrs. Sylvia Sobraj, patrons of the Ashram, who have contributed significantly to the current enhanced infrastructure, IT and Library facilities, and the beautiful ambience of the Ashram, will be initiating another project, which will also be launched on Sunday during the early morning service at the Guru Mandir.
Administrator of the Ashram, Swami Shivshankarji Maharaj, says that the Ashram’s activities are always clean and wholesome and that the entire family can participate.
There will be Merry-go-round, trampoline, many games, a five overs six-a-side cricket competition, face painting, and many more fun activities for both adults and children.
A variety of dishes and drinks (non-alcoholic) will also be on sale.
Entry to this enjoyable day of fun for the family will be, as always, free of charge.
