I refer again to the letter by Vidyaratha Kissoon “While science has recognized ‘intersex’ the law does not recognize it” (SN 4/4/10) and would appreciate the opportunity to offer a second rebuttal. We have copied this letter as well to the Guyana Bar Association, Guyana’s Attorney General, Guyana’s Minister of Education, Guyana’s Police Commissioner, and Guyana’s Minister of Human Services!
One key strategy of gay-militancy has always been to redefine the context, usage and meaning of our language … to use the words we are traditionally familiar with to imply that it “now has evolved into something else”. This allows semantic imitations of key creation structures like “sex”, “marriage”, “manhood”, “womanhood” and “family”. These politically-correct euphemisms usually cannot withstand detailed analysis, and careful scrutiny will reveal the illogic of their subliminal messages. We have mentioned before that gay militancy (and Kissoon in this case) thrives on suggestion and innuendo, and the reluctance of readers to delve further and challenge something that “sounds about right”.
Kissoon refers readers to Planned Parenthood’s website for ‘research into gender and sexuality”. We would refer readers instead to “Q&A on Gender Identity Confusion — Sexual Behaviour Disorders”; http://www.pfox.org/Q&A-gender-identity-confusion.pdf . It is infinitely more detailed! Now Planned Parenthood is famous … or infamous … for its fantastical adoption of the term “protecting women’s reproductive rights” to mean … “intensely promoting abortions”. This is a classic case of the illusory device referred to above. Yearly, Planned Parenthood facilitates millions of abortions in the USA, contributing to the fact that that country had wiped out an entire generation (60,000,000) of its citizens since Roe vs. Wade passed in 1979. That’s why Republicans in the USA are so determined that Planned Parenthood DOES NOT get Federal funds to promote abortions overseas. PP literally presides over an industry swimming in blood and lost lives, and would seek to export same if possible!
Kissoon attempts to excuse or explain gay-militant insistence on sex-change surgery by saying “While science has recognised intersex, the law does not recognise intersex and the decision of doctors to turn people into male or female has often caused complications” (Now, per “Q&A on Gender Identity Confusion — Sexual Behaviour Disorders”, we should point out that: “…Intersex is an extremely rare phenomenon associated with physical birth anomalies and cannot be compared with the psycho-social psychiatric condition known as ‘Gender Identity Disorder’… Intersex is a birth anomaly while transgenderism is a psychiatric disorder…” Kissoon ambitious statement is meant to dazzle, not educate, and uses the innocuous “1 in 2,000” ratio … unreferenced, a standard tactic of gay-militancy… to replace the phrase “very rare physical birth anomaly”. Dr. Paul McHugh offers advice on how we should treat these (very rare) birth defects in the article “Surgical Sex” (http://www.pfox.org/Transgenderism_is_gender_identity_disorder.html )
Kissoon attempts to redefine “sex” and “gender”. So we can again use the information at http://www.pfox.org/Q&A-gender-identity-confusion.pdf to answer this fundamental question: What is the difference between “sex” and “gender”?
“… Sex is determined by chromosomes. Sex is an immutable characteristic at the time of birth. Webster’s New 20th Century Dictionary (2nd ed.1970) states the initial definition of sex as “either of the two divisions of organisms distinguished as male or female; males or females (especially men or women) collectively.” “Male” is defined as “designating or of the sex that fertilizes the ovum and begets offspring; opposed to female.” “Female” is defined as “designating or of the sex that produces ova and bears offspring; opposed to male.” The courts have found that “one’s sex is fixed at the moment of conception” and that chromosomes should be the primary relevant factor in determining sex. Chromosome testing is used to determine sex …”
“… A person’s Gender is either male or female. We live in a binary world. Yet gay activists say we can “think” our sex, so gender is what we think. When one is confused about his gender/sex, the medical community, psychiatrists and psychologists acknowledge this confusion as a disordered mental condition called ‘gender dysphoria’ or ‘gender identity disorder (GID).’ These gender confused individuals are commonly referred to as “transgenders.” They feel as if they are trapped in the body of the wrong gender; however, they retain the sexual orientation of their birth sex. As one transactivist wrote, “gender-identity is the manner in which we think of ourselves, our internal conviction about being men or women, male or female, masculine or feminine (and both or neither).” Describing gender cannot be simply a ‘perception’ or a ‘feeling.’ “Subjective mental thoughts about sex/gender are too amorphous to use as a baseline to establish sex.” (Matt Staver, J.D. http://law.bepress.com/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=8309&context=expresso)
Kissoon repeats “Our ‘gender identity’ is how we feel about and express our gender and gender roles. This could be in the way we dress, walk, talk, behave at home and in public.” Kissoon is wrong again. We should repeat from above: “… Describing gender cannot be simply a ‘perception’ or a ‘feeling.’ “Subjective mental thoughts about sex/gender are too amorphous to use as a baseline to establish sex…”
Kissoon next offers that “The people who find that their gender identity does not match their sex may identify as ‘transgender’ or use other words such as ‘gay’ if they are men transitioning to women.” This cannot pass careful scrutiny. After “Q&A on Gender Identity Confusion — Sexual Behaviour Disorders”, let’s assess the word “transgender” as used in the scientific/medical field today: “…The term Transgender is an umbrella term that includes transvestism and transsexualtiy. Medical professionals acknowledge that a Transgender condition is a Gender Identity Disorder (GID).1 Gay activists purport that gender identity is defined by how a person feels at any given moment. But [t]he fallacy in relying on the subjective is that sex becomes merely a feeling. Human feeling, by definition capricious, cannot be a standard upon which our judicial system relies – sex cannot be determined by a balancing of masculine and feminine feelings. Rather, sex must be determined by objective and immutable standards …”
As last gasp, Kissoon reverts to Alfred C. Kinsey’s theories on sexuality, but this is a non-starter. Alfred Kinsey’s studies have been totally discredited as a valid source on sexuality by Dr. Judith Reisman’s remarkable research/books, and had been found to use methods that bordered on the criminally degenerate. For an introduction into the scientific fraud that Kissoon is compelled to use in his argumentation, readers should peruse “How Alfred C Kinsey’s Sex Studies Have harmed Women and Children” (http://www.cwfa.org/images/content/kinsey-women_11_03.pdf ), “Kinsey, Sex and Fraud” (http://www.cwfa.org/images/content/kinsey-women_11_03.pdf ); and “The Man Who Mainstreamed Perversion” (http://www.drjudithreisman.com/archives/2006/07/the_man_who_mai.html). There are others.
Key strategy of gay militancy is redefining context of usage
