According to her, “After my first year at Hugh Wooding Law School, I took a year’s leave from school and worked as a legal assistant. This helped me tremendously during my final year at school. The experience allowed me to gain a greater appreciation of the law and my role as an Attorney-at-law.
Miss Singh thanked the Judge for his words of guidance, Mr. Ramlochan for presenting her petition, and her tutors for their hard work.
She also promised to live up to expectations and said that she would do all in her power to live up to the high traditions of the bar.
Following her admission, the new lawyer and her relatives were entertained at the Judge’s Chambers.
