Contracts signed for next segment of Friday Night Fights

YET another contract-signing was held on Monday at Abdool and Abdool Insurance Brokers Incorporated as the monthly Friday Night Fights regimen continues with eight bouts that are scheduled for the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall on the amended date of May 2. The irregular time-table is the result of cricket being held on the originally planned date – April 30.
The card will see Laurex Benn stand toe-to-toe with Michael DeMattos in the junior middleweight division while Sharon Ward and Pauline London will square off in the catchweight division.

The two other professional fights on the card are the junior-welterweight bout between Kwesi Jones and James Walcott and the super-middleweight match-up between Theophilus King and Leon Gilkes.
In the amateur match-ups Moolchan Sankar of the Ricola Boxing Gym will meet Herlando Allicock of the Forgotten Youth Foundation in the junior flyweight division while Clairmont Gibson, out of the GDF Gym, and Nankumar Singh of the Republican Boxing Gym will do battle in the lightweight division.
The Republican Gym will also field David Thomas who will go head-to-head with Akeem Alexander of the Carryll Boxing Gym in the junior welterweight division.
The other lightweight bout on the night’s card will see Romeo Norville of the Harpy Eagles Boxing Gym come up against Sherwin Clarke of the Pocket Rocket Boxing Gym.
