The salaries of the two Presidential Advisers to President Bharrat
jagdeo were yesterday submitted to the National Assembly. This was a written reply by Prime Minister Samuel Hinds, in response to a question posed by Alliance for Change (AFC) Member of Parliament Sheila Holder, to list the names and salaries being paid to all advisers of the President.
According to the paper circulated, there are two persons currently designated Advisers to the President and their official designation is Presidential Adviser.
These are Ms. Gail Teixeira, the Presidential Adviser on Governance (salary: G$800,696 per month), and Mr. Odinga Lumumba, Presidential Adviser on Empowerment (salary: G$516,457 per month).
