There was no physiotherapist at Suddie Hospital until September 14, 2009

IN response to the letter titled ‘All is not well at Suddie Hospital’ that was written by Mr. Mohamed Khan which was published on the February 11, 2010 in your newspaper, Guyana Chronicle I wish to state that first of all Mr. Mohamed Khan needs to write facts and stop accusing health workers falsely. This person is claiming that he paid a Physiotherapist employed at the Suddie Public Hospital to give him treatment for his condition, whereas, there was never a Physiotherapist employed at this hospital until September 14, 2009. On this date, I assumed duty as a physiotherapist at the Suddie Hospital employed by the Ministry of Health and I have no idea who is Mohamed Khan.

Furthermore, I was not in Guyana for the past six years and according to a source he was left bedridden by an accident which occurred almost four years ago which leaves me to wonder how is it possible for me to have taken money from this person without even treating or having any contact with him.
