Wanted bulletin for Phagwah Day murder suspect

POLICE yesterday issued a wanted bulletin for Charles Rollins alias ‘Chuckey’, suspected of having murdered Okema Todd, the mother of his children, on Phagwah Day
The murder took place in Ketley Street, Charlestown, Georgetown, where the woman was fatally stabbed in the presence of her children aged between four months and two years.
Police said the suspect, of African descent, was born July 24, 1987 and is dark in complexion.

Anyone with information that may lead to his arrest is asked to contact the Police on telephone numbers 225-2683, 226-9122, 225-6411, 225-2227, 226-7065, 225-6941, 911 or the nearest Police station.
All information will be treated with strict confidence, the Police said.
While being stabbed, the victim was seen running towards Ketley Primary School and shouting for help and a security guard on duty opened the gate to rescue her but she collapsed on the bridge, with several wounds about her body.
She was taken to Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH) where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police, who removed a knife from the crime scene where Todd lived, took a woman into custody Tuesday afternoon.
Relatives of the deceased told the Guyana Chronicle that the former female boxer will be buried tomorrow.
