GUYANESE are being invited to participate, either by watching remarks, on Internet Freedom, to be delivered today by United States Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, or submitting questions and comments on it while viewing.
A release from the U.S. Embassy in Georgetown said she will speak at the Newseum, in Washington D.C., at 10:30 h (local time), when the policy address will lay out the Administration’s strategy for protecting freedom in the networked age of the 21st Century.
Following her speech, there will be a panel discussion on the issue and Guyanese can watch a high quality video stream of it at http://netfreedom.state.gov.
The release said, from there, viewers may choose the high quality video option or the interactive CO.NX room.
No password is necessary and you can enter as a guest by typing the username of your choice.
The remarks will also be live-streamed on www.state.gov, the release said.
