An Anna Catherina, West Coast Demerara shopkeeper was attacked and robbed of $700,000 in cash on Tuesday night by two men.

Police said that at about 21:45 hours last Tuesday Anita Paul was attacked and robbed by two men, one of whom was armed with a handgun.

Ms. Paul was in the family’s grocery store when the men entered and held her at gunpoint. They then took away $700,000 in cash and escaped.
